Cindy Celusta has been working with polymer clay for fourteen years. Her discovery of this medium was like *coming home at last*! It was truly love at first squeeze. Cindy believes that her Doll Art is a true expression of her ever evolving dance of life. All pieces are one of a kind, and hand sculpted from a mixture of Polymer Clays.
Cindy currently enjoys designing, teaching and demonstrating products and techniques. She designed the original faces for the Sculpey Flexible Face molds sold in craft and art stores. She completed a book for Design Originals that debuted in the 2003. Cindy' s work can be found in collections, international books and magazines.
Artist Statement:
It is the beginning of a new day. I can waste it - or use it for good. What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever, leaving in its' place something I have traded for it. I want it to be a gain, not a loss; good, not evil; success, not failure.
Each day is filled with such wonderful promise. It is my responsibility to utilize the gifts I have been given in all areas of my life every day. It is in the trying to live this way that each day will be exchanged for a gain, a good, a success.
